Rosey, I heard from Elva Martin that you offer a writing course. I am writing Contemporary Christian Women’s fiction. Would your material be helpful even though I’m not writing a mystery? If so, how can I get started. Sue Stout
Hi Lana,
It’s very easy to find a list. At http://RoseyDow.com is a link for Books with a complete list. Also, you could go to http://Amazon.com and do a search for Rosey Dow.
Dear RoseyDow,
I just wanted to say that I just read your book, Colorado and this is my first reading anything written by you and have become a great fan. I read that you were raised in an Amish/Mennonite and your parents divorced. I’m so sorry that happened. I can relate to not having money to pay bills; I have Stage IV lung cancer and because my husband makes over 30,000 we don’t get any help whatsoever. I am honored to know you through this book Colorado and I hope many more.
Love in Christ,
Denise in NC SpncChar@aol.com
Dear Rosey,
Yesterday was Easter, and it was a glorious day here in Central Texas! He is Risen Indeed!
I just finished reading “Colorado” for the 2d time . . . I especially enjoyed the character of Joe Calahan or “Banjo”. I was wondering if you’d ever revisit Banjo, Sally, Jake, and Carey? I would love to know what happened to them all . . .
I love historical fiction with well developed characters and plausible plots. You have done that so well with these four novellas. Thank You!
Sincerely,
Patricia Gorman
Hi Irene,
Yes, divorce was unheard of in our culture, too. I had never met anyone who was divorced. Very traumatizing for my siblings and me. Thanks so much for your note! Stop by my free book blog where there is an entire novel posted for anyone to read at http://ColoradoHomecoming.com. God bless!
Hi,
My daughter gave me the book Colorado to read. I just got it tonight.
I was so surprised to read about you growing up Amish/Mennonite. So did I. My dad was the bishop in the church I grew up in. I’m curious to know how your parents got a divorce in that culture. It was totally taboo in my setting. In fact it was unheard of. My husband and I did not find God on a personal level until we were 28 years old and already had all four of our children.
I’m looking forward to reading the book.
Hello! I just finished your book Colorado, which my husband gave me for Christmas! I enjoyed it very much and look forward to reading more of your books. I especially enjoy books set back in the pioneer/post-Civil War era; and if the story takes place in Colorado, that makes it all the more appealing!! My husband and I honeymooned (4-1/2 years ago) in Salida, Colorado Springs, Canon City, Creede, Lake City, etc, to name just a few of the many towns we visited during our unforgettable 2-week honeymoon. =) Thank you for providing wholesome, Christ-centered books that I can pass down to my precious daughters when they are old enough to read them. May the Lord bless you!! Sincerely, Rebecca Wilson
Tracked you down… not to hard these days! I was just thinking about you and decided to write a short note. The only address we have is from when we sent a small check for Jonathon’s trip. (hope that went well). We have been in Guyana for over 10 years now. (in this location) We are 4 miles from the old Jonestown compound… The Lord has truely blessed the work. We are still doing Scripture Songs. We are singing over 400 verses now!
I enjoyed browsing around Rosey’s web site.
May the Lord bless you all…
I will NEVER forget you!
Hi Mrs. Dow, Read your book Colorado Christmas. Book with short stories in it. My favorites were Love By Accident. Liked the part about the locket. Also liked A Wife In Name Only. Wish the stories had been longer though.

Thank you. Deborah

Hello Mrs. Dow,
First, I want to say congratulations on the success of your books!
I’m a new Christian Mystery Author.
I could use your advice on marketing.
Where’s the best place to find readers
for my books?
They’re classified in these areas:
1. Recovering Alcoholics
2. Spiritual/Religious Mystery Readers
3. Single Mothers
Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Do you do book tours?
Please let me know when you’ll
be in the state of Washington.
May you continue to have more success!
Sincerely,
Clyde McDade
