Reaping the Whirlwind: Exposes Revisionist History

Revisionist History says: The Truth is:
John Scopes taught evolution to his high school biology class. John Scopes never taught biology and never taught evolution.
Scopes was an expert on evolution. Scopes did not know enough about evolution to defend it on the witness stand.
Authorities jailed Scopes until his trial. Scopes was only eligible for a fine and never went to jail.
An irate preacher caused John Scopes to be arrested. The ACLU and town boosters convinced Scopes that he should volunteer to be the defendant for a test case.
Clarence Darrow was the first choice to defend Scopes. Scopes chose Darrow against the wishes of the ACLU.
William Jennings Bryan forced himself into the prosecution team. Two different parties invited Bryan to participate.
Bryan knew nothing about science. Bryan was well versed in evolution and belonged to the American Academy for the Advancement of Science.
The evolutionists won the case. Scopes was convicted and fined.
